Kings Lynn
The town centre boasts both an historic core
which is a magnet for tourists, and a thriving shopping area boasting both
national retailers as well as specialist and local independent shops.
Markets are held three times a week on the town’s two market places. A £50
million scheme is underway to further enhance the shopping facilities. This
will provide 50 new shop units and exciting opportunities for retailers and
shoppers alike.
Served by the full range of schools, both
State and private, for all age groups. A number have specialist status. The
town also boasts the campus of the College of West Anglia, and the nearby
Cambridge University and University of East Anglia are easily reached by car
and rail.
There is an amazing mixture of Heritage,
Countryside and Seaside, with some coastal areas designated as Areas of
Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a wide range of leisure facilities,
including golf, water sports, walking, cycling and bird watching. Cultural
and social activities are equally diverse, including the acclaimed King’s
Lynn Arts Festival, and concerts at the Corn Exchange.

everybody, from town centre apartments to executive housing, and both modern
and traditional homes in the many smaller towns and villages. An outstanding
quality of life is supported by low levels of congestion and crime, making
an ideal location in which to live and work.
Excellent communications links to both the
rest of the country and to Europe. The A10, A17 and A47 trunk roads converge
on the town, linking the Midlands, East and South, whilst rapid rail
services speed to Cambridge and London. Two international airports – Norwich
and London Stansted are also easily accessible.
